Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy

Dante Aligheri's Divine Comedy is an Italian narrative poem from 1320. The poem's imaginative vision of the afterlife is representative of the medieval worldview. It is divided into three parts: Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso.

The narrative describes Dante's travels through Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise or Heaven. I redesigned the book covers as a trilogy, leveraging illustrated icons, and a layered design symbolic of the literature itself.
